At a press conference and cocktail hangout on Wednesday, global gaming site, 22Bet, renewed their brand partnership with Kenya’s rapper, Khaligraph Jones. In addition to the renewal, the popular sportsbook and casino site also unveiled a new brand ambassador, singer Nadia Mukami.
Speaking during the evening hangout, Joash Ajuoga, the General Manager of 22Bet expressed optimism, describing Khaligraph Jones as an outstanding ambassador who has managed to embody the brand tenets while connecting with their diverse audience.
“With Nadia Mukami joining the team, we are confident in the synergy of talent and creativity that will further elevate our brand and engage our users,”
Exuding confidence at the unveiling, Nadia described it as an “honour and an exciting challenge” and expressed her thrill to be part of the brand.
“I believe in the power of entertainment and sports to connect people, and I am thrilled to be part of a brand that understands and embraces this connection,”
With several brands seeking to make inroads into competitive areas such as gaming, artistes are increasingly landing celebrity endorsements that align with their image.
Another artiste who has partnered with the gaming brand, and was present, is Wyre, who is also CEO of the entertainment platform, Bloow.
Other global brand ambassadors for 22Bet include the 2008 CAF African Footballer of the Year, Emmanuel Adebayor as well as Brazilian star Julio César.
With its increased focus on responsible gaming, 22Bet has also launched several charity events.
