Acclaimed Kenyan music producer and composer, Fancy Fingers (also a member of celebrated music group Sauti Sol) has released a new single titled “Show Me Love” featuring the soulful South African singer-songwriter, Simmy. The laid back release is a sonic masterpiece that pays homage to Kwaito, a genre that has hugely influenced the musical identity of Amapiano.
It was such a great honor and absolute pleasure to meet Simmy earlier this year in Joburg. I sold her the dream I have of doing a project that features female artists only across the continent and she happily accepted to be part of it. We worked remotely after that and she has been very involved with every single detail regarding our song. Her sultry voice was perfect for jam and I believe we made a beautiful gem!”
