Earlier this year, an emotive cinematic monologue titled Brainstorm, starring Lorna Lemi was released, a collaboration of young filmmakers under the banner, ‘ILE RENDE‘.
ILE RENDE is a group of young Filmmakers and Film enthusiasts skilled in different departments of the creative industry partnering up to invest in one another. To skill up and scale up together, fanning each one’s flames of mastery in story telling through Film.
As the outfit’s debut, Brainstorm garnered acclaim for it’s unique story of a young lady in an asylum talking to her imaginary friend ‘Bob’.

CLOSURE Short Film
Following the success of Brainstorm, the team is back, releasing it’s first Short Film titled, CLOSURE.
Breathing it’s first on 20th July, 2023, Closure, produced by Lorna Lemi and Derrick Kinyanjui, is a story of a young lady struggling with the death of her father amidst her mother’s illness.
Directed by Sanchez Marley and starring Lorna Lemi and Derrick Kinyanjui, the poignant film debuted to a spray of positive reviews.
